DUBAI, U.A.E: Excel4apps, a provider of best-in-class Excel-based reporting software for use with SAP and Oracle, has announced the key personnel appointments of Anthony de Richelieu as Sales Manager for the Middle East region, and Sarah Chalmers as Marketing Coordinator for the Middle East & Africa (MEA). The new hires are another indication of Excel4apps’ impressive recent growth in MEA, the company’s fastest growing region in terms of revenue for 2012 and 2013.

“Our popular GL Wand solution, which allows finance professionals to pull real-time Oracle and SAP general ledger data simply and securely into Excel, is seeing strong success in MEA,” said Richard Savill, Director of Sales − Middle East & Indian Subcontinent, for Excel4apps. “Last year, MEA’s success played an important role in our 74% global staff growth. We are thrilled to continue this impressive trajectory with the addition of these two dynamic individuals to our team.”

De Richelieu will be responsible for sales of Excel4apps solutions throughout the Middle East. With an MBA from the University of Cape Town, he previously worked for SAP in Johannesburg and sold the company’s solutions throughout Africa. “Anthony brings a wealth of sales experience and a huge amount of energy to our MEA region,” Savill said. “It demonstrates our credentials that we are able to attract a sales professional of such caliber from an organization like SAP.”

Working toward her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management at IMM Graduate School of Marketing, Chalmers brings a range of experience in banking and IT sales to Excel4apps. As MEA Marketing Coordinator, she will be responsible for planning and coordination of MEA events, both in-person and virtual. Chalmers will also support the region’s sales and marketing efforts by engaging in special project management and coordination.

“Sarah is a very capable yet flexible addition to our team, bringing the perfect skill set for the diverse role she fulfills,” said Shirley Riddick, Managing Director – MEA, for Excel4apps. “She has already seamlessly organized our attendance at SAP’s recent SAPHILA 2014 conference in South Africa, and we look forward to her future efforts in raising Excel4apps’ profile in our region.”
