Glee Hospitality Solutions, the dynamic company which has carved a niche in the region, has redefined success in more ways than one by creating, developing and operating successful restaurant concepts in the UAE and wider Gulf. No wonder that Glee has unraveled a total of 15 restaurants across three cities in the region over the last five years, which reflect the customers’ appetite for its unique concepts.

Since the company was conceptualized 5 years ago, Glee Hospitality has believed in launching high-street restaurant concepts, and its success has been phenomenal, if its 50% year-on-year growth is any indication.

From Molten Me, the first-of-its-kind dessert concept to The Gramercy a gastro pub; from Rice Creamery, UAE’s latest home-grown concept dedicated to the quintessential Arabian desserts, to Urban Bites – a ready-to-eat gourmet restaurant which encourages healthy eating; Glee has covered the entire gamut of high-street culinary journey.

Burger Hood – the popular joint – is about to launch its third outlet this time round in Dubai, after having successfully launched in 2012 in Abu Dhabi followed by Al Ain in 2013.

Brought to the UAE with a single-minded objective of delivering higher quality, affordable restaurants with atmosphere for diners who want something different in the UAE, Glee has certainly made a mark in the hospitality domain.

“F&B is a hot topic here – and we have been fortunate to be operating in the UAE, which has residents from nearly 200 nationalities. Our restaurants and their success in the last 3-4 years speak volumes about the latent market for good, affordable but high-quality food, which we tapped into,” said Abdul Kader Saadi, Managing Director of Glee Hospitality Solutions.

Among the numerous licenses they own, Glee is proud of its own concept – The Gramercy in DIFC. “The Gramercy is our own concept and is doing really well – It’s now in its fifth year. Its popularity is a testimony of the demand for such restaurants in the UAE,” said Saadi.

Talking about competition, he added: “The market for Mall or hotel restaurants is saturated – there are on an average about five or six in each hotel. However, there is a clear lack of good high street restaurants in the UAE and this is where we are trying to make a difference.”

And what does the future hold in store? Glee has a clear vision in place. The journey does not stop here. Glee Hospitality plans to unveil over 8 new concepts in the coming year, primarily targeting the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Bahrain markets. “Expansion is definitely on the cards. Overall, our emphasis is on fascinating menus, fresh components, and modern elements of design, both well prepared and worthy personnel across key markets in the Gulf,” added Saadi.

“We plan to offer some of the most delectable taste treats in the UAE and region – be it our menu, innovative concepts, unmatched ambience or personalized service,” he said.

With their diverse backgrounds, experience, and understanding of the global marketplace, the partners of Glee Hospitality offer more than 40 years of combined experience in restaurant/hotel management, F&B, business development and operations.
