In honour of Egyptian National Day and in pursuit of inspiring more and more people to make the lifestyle change towards achieving fitter, healthier and stronger bodies, Dalma Mall hosted a range of events. There were special events marking Egyptian National Day, celebrated on July 23, 2015, that saw an authentic tribute to Egypt and its beautiful culture with authentic Egyptian traditional performances from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Alongside this event, McDonald’s conducted a 30-minutes long “Go Active” show which encouraged audiences to take up an active lifestyle. The session comprised action-packed dance, games and exercise, included instructional dances for children. The event took place on July 23, 2015, from time: 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

Marking the commitment to a lifestyle of good health, Fitness First promoted healthy lifestyles and weight loss as concepts. Inside the premises of Dalma Mall, Fitness First placed two treadmills and two exercise bikes near the stage. Visitors to the mall used these equipments and competed against each other. The ones who wound up burning more calories got to win guest passes from Fitness First.

Certified instructors also put up aerobics demonstrations on stage for people to watch and be inspired to make the choice to work out. In addition, there was also a separate counter to measure the BMI of visitors and perform free health check-ups, too. The event took place from July 24 to July 30, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM.

Speaking about the events lined up in the third and fourth weeks of July, Bhupinder Singh, the General Manager & CFO of Dalma Mall, explained, “We are very proud to be ringing in Egyptian National Day and also celebrating the cause of fitness. While using entertainment as the core medium, we hope to give our patrons some food for thought. We look forward to a fruitful and learning time ahead with our customers.”
