Property management organisation named SAP Gold Winner for its innovative products and services

wasl Asset Management Group has been announced as a Gold Winner at the SAP Quality Awards for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). The company collected the accolade for its Mobility Innovations for 2015, many of which are amongst the first of their kind in the region. The honour marked the second time that wasl has scooped a SAP quality award.

Hosted by SAP MENA in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, wasl’s Gold Winner award was presented by Frank Forndron, Director and Head of Customer Office SAP MENA to Mohammed Al Sharji, General Manager of Information Technology and Majid Al Mansory, Senior Software Engineer at wasl. The event followed the SAP Quality Award given to wasl at the SAP Headquarters at Walldorf, Germany in May this year.

“wasl is committed to ensuring the very best experience for its customers and a central plank of this commitment is its programme of developing and adopting premium mobile services that ensure optimum ease and convenience. We are delighted that our dedication to our tenants has once again been acknowledged with a significant industry award,” said Abdulla Obaidalla, Chief Operating Officer, wasl Asset Management Group.

The SAP Quality Awards celebrate organisations that have excelled in the planning and execution of their software in line with SAP quality principles. wasl secured its ‘Gold Award for Mobility Innovation’ following its successful implementation and business value created through innovative mobility and online solutions.

wasl offers around 250 services and more than 60 transactions through its mobility channels. These facilitate a comprehensive array of customer interactions; including lease renewals, account statements, tenant registration, property searches, setting up payment schedules and raising maintenance requests.

From an internal perspective, an effective and efficient utilisation of wasl’s mobile services includes employee annual leave requests, purchase requisitions and professional development applications. wasl employees in the field are also able to use the services to manage work schedules, conduct inspections and process service requests with real time and offline capabilities.

“Our twin goals at wasl are to maximise customer satisfaction and to become pioneers in the field of advanced smart services amongst real estate companies in Dubai. wasl’s adoption of leading mobile applications using the SAP Smart Services platform has allowed us to achieve both these important ambitions,” said Mohammed Al Sharji, IT General Manager, wasl Asset Management Group.
