BEAM School Receives Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education in Two Categories at its 25th Edition.

The ceremony held in Sharjah on May 1st was attended by HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qassimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and His Excellency Dr. Saeed Musabah Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council together with officials and members of the education community.

The International School of Creative Science (ISCS) – Muwaileh, managed by Bukhatir Education Advancement & Management (BEAM) has been recognised in the 2019 Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education with accolades for Distinguished School in UAE and Distinguished Teacher in Sharjah. The ceremony held in Sharjah on May 1st was attended by HE Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qassimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and His Excellency Dr. Saeed Musabah Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Sharjah Education Council together with officials and members of the education community.

Celebrating its silver Jubilee in 2019, the Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education was established under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. Under-recognition of the Sharjah Education Council, the awards are designed to establish a creative hub and superior educational environment in the UAE, building an inspiring atmosphere that maximizes performance and raises the educational outcomes of all education institutions and educators from around the Emirate, while honouring the tremendous efforts of everyone involved.

ISCS Muwaileh was awarded the highest accolade of Distinguished School in UAE- an award granted to public and private schools with exceptional standards of excellence in as well as adult education centres, and women’s associations across the United Arab Emirates. The school which hosts over 5,000 students, is a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) network and has a Promethean Centre of Excellence in the Middle East.

Mr. Maddah Hassan Al Hadithi, Head of Social Studies at ISCS Muwaileh, received the Distinguished Teacher in UAE award for his dedication to his students and his pedagogy that enables him to implement a variety of teaching techniques that ensures the achievement and progress of his students. This award honors teachers who have achieved outstanding teaching performances and performed innovative initiatives that serve the education sector as well as their students.

Commenting on the award wins Mrs. Samar Khalid Murad, Principal of ISCS Muwaileh said: “We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the organizers of the Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education. This prestigious award translates the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah, of building a generation of achievers who excel at all academic and education levels. It is this vision that has guided us in every step of our journey; from the moment our schools first opened, until receiving this award today. Now we have an even bigger responsibility; to keep progressing and improving in accordance with the National Agenda and the UAE Vision 2021. These seek to enhance the quality of the education system in the country, ensuring the global competitiveness of UAE students as amongst the best in the world.”

Mrs Murad added: “At ISCS Muwaileh and at all of BEAM’s affiliated schools, one of our key beliefs is collaborating as one cohesive unit, that works together with determination and dedication towards achieving clear goals. The Sharjah Award for Excellence in Education is a platform renowned for honouring the numerous innovative efforts of organizations and individuals within the educational sector while simultaneously recognizing outstanding leaders contributing to enhancing the education sector in the UAE.
