LinkedIn, the world’s largest professional network, hosted the first-ever LinkedIn Café in the MENA region. The event brought together recruitment experts and job seekers to discuss career decisions and explore the best ways of unlocking the potential of LinkedIn.

Taking place at 1762 Stripped in One JLT, the evening saw an impressive attendance from business and recruitment experts, in addition to young people eager to network and obtain career tips from HR executives. Guests seeking to advance their careers had the opportunity to participate in personalized sessions by LinkedIn coaches to enhance their LinkedIn profiles and get their professional portraits taken at an on-site studio.

The event opened with a panel discussion between Abdulla Al Kohaji, Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Emiratization – Human Resources at the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) Authority, Rita Rosen, Founder and CEO of the marketing agency Rosen, and Anas Almarei, Director of Social Media Solutions at PwC’s Academy. Moderated by Marwan El Nemr, Public Sector Director at LinkedIn MENA, the session featured a lively conversation on personal experiences in finding success on LinkedIn, in addition to insights and tips on leveraging the platform to search for jobs, build a personal brand and recruit the best talent.
