In celebration of the 49th UAE National Day this year, The Pointe, Dubai’s premier lifestyle and dining destination on Palm Jumeirah, is set to launch an exclusive new song by Emirati producer, Ihab Darwish, composed specifically for the Palm Fountain to commemorate the spirit of the union.

While The Palm Fountain shows run regularly from 6pm onwards, spectators can showcase their UAE pride while witnessing a special UAE National Day Show with a song inspired by the resilient spirit of Dubai composed by Ihab Darwish on 1 – 3 December at 9pm.

Conceptualized based on The Palm Fountain’s ‘Aim for the sky’ mantra, and dedicated to the Guinness World Records™ title holder of the world’s largest fountain, the song has been composed to deliver a symbolic, iconic, memorable and highly inspirational melody as the official hero theme song for The Palm Fountain.

Ihab Darwish, Emirati Composer, said, “I am honoured to have composed “Aim for the Sky” as a celebration of the largest record-breaking fountain in the world, The Palm Fountain. As an Emirati artist, I am proud to have my original symphony mark the occasion of the UAE’s 49th National Day at The Pointe, which has been a truly enriching experience.”

The music mixes between cinematic and symphonic sounds reflecting the city’s vibrant and inspirational spirit. One of the most unique attributes of the Music is that it is composed in three prominent sections arranged in different styles to showcase the unity of all cultures under one sky. The magnificent melody speaks to all generations due to the variety of arrangements, and it portrays the hard journey of a strong city defying all obstacles to reach the skies. The idea behind this music is to create a dialogue between many musical instruments infused with Classical, Khaleeji, Oriental, Electronic, and Latino styles to deliver a message that Dubai is proficient to embrace all cultures, nationalities and ethnicities.
