World-leading technology brand, Lenovo, has collaborated with fashion visionary, Marmar Halim, and Dubai’s leading fashion school, FAD Institute of Luxury Fashion and Style, to help inspire and empower the next generation of designers to bridge the gap between fashion and technology with the new Lenovo Yoga Book 9i.

As part of a wider campaign named #BeTheCreator, Lenovo offered three exceptional students from FAD the incredible opportunity to be mentored by Marmar Halim, as they crafted three distinct outfits inspired by the Lenovo Yoga design philosophy. The outfits took inspiration from the Lenovo Yoga design ethos, creating a beautiful harmony between fashion, sustainability, and technology. The designed outfits were then revealed and showcased at an intimate event, held at Dubai Design District in Marmar Halim’s atelier.

Commenting on the collaboration, General Manager for Lenovo GULF, Mohammed Hilili, said: “Empowering the next generation to create and innovate has always been part of Lenovo’s core values. Through our game-changing collaboration with Marmar Halim and FAD Institute, we are revolutionizing the landscape where technology meets fashion. Our Yoga lineup, particularly the Yoga Book 9i, is more than just a device; it’s an invitation to consume, create, and collaborate on your own terms. The exceptional designs crafted by the students under Marmar Halim’s mentorship bring this vision to life. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these young visionaries and look forward to continuing to innovate to empower more people to express themselves through technology.”

Marmar Halim further added: “I truly applaud Lenovo for this initiative and was very excited to see the potential in future generations come out through today’s digital platforms. The designs that were created through this campaign are a testament to how technology can be used to further inspire the creative visionaries of the future.”

The event also showcased Lenovo’s Yoga Book 9i, which aims to drive expression and creativity powered by inspiration, performance, sustainability, versatility, and portability. The Yoga Book 9i (13″ Intel), Carbon Neutral Certified, ENERGY STAR® rated, and EPEAT® Gold registered, has plastic-free packaging using paper board cushioning, paper-made system bag, and FSCTM-certified paper wrap. It’s also built with 90% recycled plastic in the power adapter case and 100% recycled aluminum in the top cover.
