Presight is proud to announce that it is the official stage sponsor of the 2024 UAE Tour and UAE Tour Women, as the UAE’s leading big data and analytics powered by AI company continues its support for the Abu Dhabi Sports Council for the second year-running.

The UAE Tour, a key pillar of the UCI World Tour and the premier cycling event in the region, provides Presight with an opportunity to engage with fans directly and champion sporting excellence in the UAE.

Presight will be the stage sponsor of the individual Time Trial Stage 2 for the UAE Tour, and 128km-long Stage 3 of the 2024 UAE Tour Women. This sponsorship is in line with Presight’s ongoing work in professional sports which looks to leverage big data and analytics powered by AI to advance the performance of athletes, teams and organisations in both elite and amateur cycling.

H.E. Aref Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council, said: “As the gatekeepers to the UCI’s sole cycling event in the Middle East, we are constantly looking for ways to enhance and build on the success of this race year-on-year. This announcement truly embodies that. As one of the most forward-thinking and innovative organizations based here in the UAE, we are delighted that Presight continues its support for the second year, and we’re very excited about the opportunities this collaboration opens up for the UAE Tour and UAE Tour Women, both for this edition and hopefully for years to come. Through their application of big data and analytics – powered by AI – we believe they will continue to help us improve this event and make it an unforgettable spectacle for audiences all around the world.”

Thomas Pramotedham, CEO of Presight, said: “We are proud to once again be a stage sponsor of the UAE Tour and UAE Tour Women for 2024. At Presight, we are committed to advancing innovation and championing human performance, and this sponsorship signifies a powerful synergy between cutting-edge big data analytics powered by AI and the elite athletes competing in UCI World Tour Cycling events. It provides an incredible opportunity for us to further elevate cycling across the region and reinforce the UAE’s position as a leader in delivering world-class sporting events.”

The UAE Tour Women returns following its inaugural edition in 2023, starting on Thursday February 8th and finishing with a sprint finish to Abu Dhabi Breakwater on Sunday 12th. The four-stage event will see the very best female riders in the world battle it out for the Red Jersey, with UAE Team ADQ looking to make an impression in their home race following a promising performance in 2023.

The UAE Tour returns for its sixth edition – starting on Monday 19th February – with the 2023 event having been won by Remco Evenepoel of Soudal Quick-Step, with UAE Team Emirates’ Adam Yates producing a masterclass to take Stage 7 atop Jebel Hafeet. This year’s race will begin in Al Dhafra, passing through several emirates, before another summit finish at Jebel Hafeet on Sunday 25th February.
