Canon Middle East, Vision Conference Partner of The Hotel Show Dubai 2015, is working with leading hotels to promote innovative, sustainable practices that will leave an impact on the region’s hospitality industry. The company’s title as ‘Vision Conference Partner’ for The Hotel Show 2015 positions the brand as a leader in IT services and solutions for the hotel sector.

At The Hotel Show stand 7D301 Canon will showcase customised services and solutions, including for print and security, that cater to the needs of hoteliers by redefining the way that they work, and have shown in practice evidence of 25% cost savings through promoting sustainable methods.

Shadi Bakhour, General Manager, Canon Emirates will present as part of “A hotel viewpoint – sustainability for a better tomorrowpanel debate alongside representatives from Le Meriden, Sofitel and others at the 3rd annual Vision Conference. Over 80 international speakers will discuss key trends driving the hospitality industry as the conference takes place alongside The Hotel Show, 28-30th September at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The Hotel Show recently revealed statistics in partnership with JLL and TOPHOTELPROJECTS that Dubai is forecast to have over 100,000 hotel rooms in the market by 2020.

Canon’s product range at The Hotel Show will fall under four main categories: NVS and Projectors, LFP, Office and Laser, each of which possesses strong efficiency, productivity, and security-capabilities.

In the Office section, product highlights will include the launch of the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C3320i, which is a compact and user-friendly, colour A3 multifunctional printer that provides high quality colour communication and streamlines document workflows. Its security and cost control features make it ideal for busy workgroups; it’s the first of its kind in the world with an ECO STAPLER FINISH (floor standing model). In addition to this the Show will highlight the imageRUNNER ADVANCE C350P which is a multifunctional colour printer that easily integrates into a network to streamline management and maintenance of devices, and delivers easy, efficient workflows and connectivity to mobile devices and cloud-based tools. Both the printers are designed to help any business reach higher productivity

In the Network Video Solutions (NVS) and Projectors segment, network cameras such as VB-M741LE, VB-R11VE, VBH630VE and VB-H43 will be on display which are fully featured Infra-Red bullet cameras for high quality images, day or night. The camera enables users to see in zero light thanks to inbuilt IR illumination and features an ultra-wide angle lens, that covers maximum area. The cameras are outdoor ready with maximum environment protection. In the projector category, WiFi enabled WUX-500 and WUX-400ST allow multiple users to input images, video and audio wirelessly; either directly or via a router. The XEED WUX500 also features PC-less functionality, meaning that presentations can be made directly from a USB lead to a single projector. These will be available for demonstration at The Hotel Show, along with NVS solutions such as Milestone, Huksy NVR.

In the LFP category, visitors will find IPF 6450, which is a 24-inch large format printer designed for the graphic art market, Océ PlotWave 340 which is a black and white and Océ ColorWave 500 which is a colour large format printer, copier, scanner that minimises waste. In the office category imageRUNNER models such as IR Advance C3320i, IR Advance C250i and IR Advance C350P SFP which are a combination of printer and scanner designed to meet the needs of small to mid-size workgroups and Managed Document Services will be exhibited. In the laser printers category, LBP – 6780x, LBP – 7680x which are small black and white and colour printers ideal for small businesses and uniFLOW printing solutions will be showcased.

The Hotel Show will also highlight the Canon for Business “Gamechanger” campaign wherein the company showcases how it is effectively adapting itself to provide new and advanced services.
