Celebrated Italian chefs Enrico Bartolini, of Michelin two-starred Devero Restaurant in Cavenago di Brianza in Italy and Tony Lo Coco of Michelin one-star ‘I Pupi’ Restaurant in Bagheria Italy, arrive in Dubai this month to take up two separate guest residences at Roberto’s Restaurant & Lounge DIFC as part of the Italian Cuisine World Summit, now in its third year.

Lo Coco, who will have the first opportunity to present his skills in the kitchen of Roberto’s, was born in 1974 and was passionate about cooking from an early age. Largely self-taught, after years of experimenting, Lo Coco finally opened his restaurant “I Pupi” in 2009, near Palermo, Italy. In 2014 he received his first Michelin star. He will have his residency at Roberto’s from October 28th -31st and will be delighting guests with his signature dishes along with those prepared especially for the summit.

Bartolini, returning to Roberto’s for the second year running, achieved his first Michelin star at the age of 29 and his second at 33, becoming the youngest Italian Chef in history to be recognized with 2 stars. He is world renowned for his raw natural talent and ingenuity, which blends classic Italian dishes with contemporary techniques and will be delighting guests with a four course set menu featuring signature dishes from November 2nd – 5th.

Roberto’s continues to add to the excellence of the fine dining offer for their customers with this year’s World Summit participation, and is particularly proud to welcome back Enrico Bartolini for his second residency with the restaurant, as well as Lo Coco’s first time cooking for Roberto’s customers.
