Yas Viceroy is delighted to announce the arrival of Paula Tannous who has been appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing at the hotel. Ms. Tannous is responsible for strategy development and internal operations for the hotel including all the restaurants, MICE spaces and facilities at the property.

Combining focused leadership with a passion for excellence and an understanding of the local market, she will play a key role in all events and promotional activity happening in and around the hotel, including Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.

Paula brings a wealth of experience in Sales and Marketing as well as in Rooms, having held various operational positions earlier in her career.  After several years of experience in Revenue and Reservation management with Accor, Paula relocated to Dubai in 2008 as Central Reservations Manager for Accor Hospitality Central Services.  Later she joined Habtoor Grand Beach Resort & Spa where she held the role of Director of Sales and Marketing and later, Executive Assistant Manager. Most recently Paula was Complex Director of Sales and Marketing of Novotel & Ibis World Trade Centre Dubai.

Additionally, Paula holds a Diploma in Hospitality Management from TAFE Queensland in Australia and is also currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marketing and Innovation from Glion University, Switzerland.
