Each Sunday Tribeca showcases its ‘Retro Sunday Roast’, an evening encompassing a good old fashioned roast dinner and the classic songs played on Vinyl brought to you by Vinyl Lounge.

The roast dinner is served just like it would be at your grandma’s house, on a pretty retro plate, a generous serving of tender meat and a side of organic vegetables. To make the meal more hearty and healthy, Tribeca has replaced the usual roasted potatoes with succulent sweet potatoes, making it a must have dish.

VINYL LOUNGE
Dubai is restoring a love for Vinyl and this growing trend is something that the Vinyl Lounge duo has always had a strong passion for. When music transformed to digital, it made access to everyone’s favourite songs easy and quick, but in order to do this digital audio has to be compressed so that it can be put on an mp3 or phone. However, with Vinyl you don’t get that compression, which ensures you get the audio exactly how the artist intended you to hear it, in all its glory.

Speaking of the partnership with Tribeca, the Vinyl Lounge duo said, “The process of creating an album is often lost on artists nowadays who focus on digital. A Vinyl record is not just about one track – the album is an experience, a story. You create your own images and feelings about the record through the artwork before you even put the needle down. In our sets, we want to provide people with this unique experience by showcasing all of this – the best artwork, the best albums, and ultimately still the best music technology – capturing music on 12-inch wax creations. Still to this day, it doesn’t get any better than Vinyl and we are passionate about bringing that format of music to Dubai and particularly to a bar like Tribeca.”
