As part of the annual shopping bonanza, Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG) in association with Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), kick-started the much awaited weekly draw ceremonies amongst the presence of over thousand shoppers. Giving life to its two major campaigns for the year,‘Shop, Play & Win’ and ‘Win 5 Kg Gold’, six winners made it big in the opening week.

 While five winners from the ‘Win 5 Kg Gold’ campaign took home 200 grams of gold each, a magnificent Nissan Pathfinder was presented to one lucky winner.

Sudheer S, the proud winner of the Nissan car, commented on his surprise win, “It was hard to believe but after checking my raffle ticket I was absolutely thrilled that I was one of the lucky winners and of a car no less! This is the first time I have won something and had sleepless nights as I just couldn’t believe I had been that lucky to win a Nissan Pathfinder.  I want to thank DSMG for making a dream come true for me. Hosted every Thursday of the week this DSF, the exciting raffle promotion campaign within the high spirited venue, Global Village, will also celebrate the rest three draw with further activities and performances.

The winners were chosen from a pool of customers who spent AED 200 at the participating malls for the ‘Shop, Play & Win’ campaign, which entitled them to raffle coupons to win a luxury car every week! On top of this fantastic promotion, shoppers were also given a chance to double their winnings, with instant prizes including luxury sunglasses, perfume sets, watches and gift vouchers. Consumers could also participate in the ‘Win 5 Kg Gold’ offer which had them shopping for AED 100 at select malls to receive a raffle coupon and be a part of this mega promotion.

In collaboration with 32 malls under the aegis of the Dubai Shopping Malls Group, the one of its kind shopping fiesta this year promises to give away over AED 3 million worth of prizes to some lucky winners.

There is something for everyone at this year’s shopping extravaganza, with malls adorned with decorations to keep up with the festive theme. Bringing the event together, retailers organise various fairs, exhibitions, sales and offers on various items which include fashion accessories, jewellery, clothes, furniture, perfumes and much more. Apart from shopping, major attractions include exclusive contests and exciting events organized by the malls and retailers.

The next raffle draw winners will be announced on January 14th, 2016 at Global Village.
