Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments, Green Community in Dubai, will by mid-January, fortify their team with Anna Collier joining as the new General Manager for both properties.

Anna studied Catering & Institutional Management and Advanced Hotel Management at the University of Salford, following which she started her hotel career with Marriott. Anna’s first position was at Worsley Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Manchester as an Assistant Restaurant Manager. This was the start of an impressive career with Marriott that to date has spanned 17 years.

Throughout her career Anna has proven to be a dedicated leader by having beenawarded ‘Manager of the Year’ in the UK every year during her four years at the Liverpool Marriott Hotel. Anna also led her F&B team to the number one position for F&B service throughout the UK during her tenure at Marriott Worsley Park Hotel & Country Club.

Looking for a new challenge Anna moved to the UAE in 2013, where she was pre-opening Resident Manager at the Marriott Hotel & Marriott Executive Apartments Al Jaddaf, Dubai. As a key part of the Leadership Team, Anna has achieved outstanding results since the opening of the two properties.

Anna is living in Dubai with her hotelier husband and two children.
