In recognition of its contribution to UAE’s growing landscape, leading realty developer Schon Properties was selected among those conferred with the prestigious “Top Real-Estate Companies in the Arab World 2016” award by the Forbes Middle East. The ceremony, held at Waldorf Astoria, Dubai Palm Jumeirah, ranked the Arab World’s top 100 real estate companies and consultants and celebrated business leaders and the vision of top enterprises and their contribution to the economic development of the Arab world. Having delivered approximately 1.65 million sqft in the UAE alone, and with successful projects running in other countries as well, Schon Properties has 8 million sqft under development in the UAE valued at AED 7 billion.

With Dubai gearing up for EXPO 2020, Schon Properties will be instrumental in plugging in the shortage of hotel apartments in EXPO 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport vicinity.  The developer plans to cover 2,600 keys for 4-star hotel rooms in Dubai for the EXPO 2020 and Al Maktoum International Airport’s growing tourist traffic. As per news reports, Dubai is expecting around 25 million visitors from around the world during the six months of the event and there have been concerns over shortage of hotels close to the EXPO 2020 site.
