Six Senses Zighy Bay is inviting guests to commemorate Emirati Women’s Day with a restoring overnight stay experience, with all bookings between August 25th until August 31st (the week of Emirati Women’s Day which is marked on August 28th).
Resting on a private white sand cove on the Oman Peninsula, flanked by the striking Al-Hajar Mountains, the village-style resort is offering a complimentary half-board meal plan upgrade and a choice of memorable activities or wellness experiences as part of the celebration.
Guests can choose from either an exhilarating paragliding flight, or a rejuvenating 45-minute spa treatment and wellness screening* – a perfect opportunity to find balance and reconnect with oneself and take in the world around them.
A complimentary body oil making session at the Alchemy Bar at Six Senses will also be offered, where exotic potions of herbs, salts, fruits, and essential oils can be blended to make aromatic scrubs and masks. Guests can enjoy working with fresh, seasonal and 100 percent ingredients from the resort’s serene organic garden, which showcases some of the best organic farming practices from the resort’s Dibba farm.
The Emirati Women’s Day celebratory also includes a generous breakfast buffet, and a specially curated three-course evening meal at either bistro-style restaurant Summer House where a mix of international dishes are served, or the Spice Market, which offers Middle Eastern grills, Lebanese style pizza, hot and cold mezze, and the finest local seafood from Musandam, along with traditional vegetable stews and more.
With an abundance of unique dining experiences across the resort, guests may alternatively opt for credit of AED258 towards premium dishes on the a la carte menus, or other dining options such as the Surf & Turf BBQ evening or In-Villa Dining. For a meal to remember, the resort’s Wine Cellar provides an exceptional location for a private dinner for up to eight guests or an intimate meal for two, where diners can sit among some of the world’s most diverse bottles with an expert sommelier on hand to guide them through dinner with wine pairings.
Daytime relaxation can be found in the privacy of every villa, and beachfront retreat, with each offering a secluded haven for guests as well as a private pool.
Stepping out of the villas, the Six Senses spa offers a sanctuary of rest and revitalisation, where guests can stay all day following their 45-minute treatment and wellness screening, which are included as part of the Emirati Women’s Day offer. Any stresses or strains on the body and mind will show up in a screening in a non-invasive analysis, which guides guests on taking their first step to making long-lasting improvements. The readings, along with discussions about each guest’s lifestyle, are used to design a treatment or bespoke multi-day programme specific personal needs.
The spa offers nine treatment rooms where signature treatments include Arabian hammams, skin-purifying facials and soul soothing aromatherapy and hot stone massages. Those wishing to linger longer can make use of a relaxing lounge, steam room, sauna room and an ice cave, while the fitness centre is available for those looking for an energy boost.
Visiting practitioners may also be available for consultations, bringing opportunities for guests to discuss specific concerns or treatments with true experts within their respective fields.
